Meet Kelly

Kelly Fleischer, LPAT, ATR-BC

Welcome! I’m a licensed art therapist with over five years of professional experience and two years of practicum work, specializing in supporting children, adolescents, teens, young adults, and caregivers. My approach is rooted in creativity and mindfulness, offering a safe and nurturing space where healing can unfold.

I integrate various therapeutic modalities, including art therapymindfulnessEMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), and other expressive tools. EMDR is a powerful therapeutic method that helps individuals process and heal from trauma and distressing life experiences by using bilateral stimulation (such as eye movements) to reprocess emotions and memories.

My educational background includes a Master’s in Education and Personnel Counseling with a focus in Art Therapy, as well as an undergraduate degree in Art and a minor in Psychology. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working in diverse settings, including schools and inpatient units, which has allowed me to develop a deep understanding of the challenges many face.

I specialize in areas such as emotional dysregulation, life transitions, anxiety, depression, and trauma, helping clients navigate their emotional worlds with compassion and creativity. My office is a welcoming, cozy space stocked with a variety of tools, including art supplies, toys, games, and a sandtray—creating an environment where clients can express themselves in the way that feels most comfortable to them.

It’s a privilege to walk alongside clients through their healing journeys, offering support during difficult times and helping them rediscover balance and resilience.

****Kelly is available for sessions with children (4+), teens, families, and young adults from Monday to Thursday afternoons and evenings.

She accepts HSA/FSA, debit, and credit cards, and offers out-of-network reimbursement forms and limited sliding scale spots. A standard 50-minute session costs $135 after an initial $180 intake session.*****

Kelly can be reached by call/text at (502) 663-9535 or email at Kelly@wovennest.net
